Smart Nanotubes
Together with Smart Nanotubes, we are working on digital odour detection. We are developing a digital nose that allows devices and machines to smell for the first time. The specially developed odour sensor chip is manufactured on the basis of nanomaterials. These function like the olfactory receptors of the human organism by being receptive in different ways to different molecules. They are even so sensitive that they are 100 times more accurate than any sniffer dog.
Quantum Technologies
In cooperation with Quantum Technologies, we are pushing the boundaries of what is measurable. With the microwave-free quantum sensor, it is possible to determine physical quantities – such as temperature, speed, electric and magnetic fields, as well as positions – with unprecedented accuracy. The highlight: The sensor is barely larger than a sugar cube. At the same time, it is cooling-free and extremely cost-effective to manufacture. And the best thing about it: It is on the threshold of commercial use.
By effective networking, we mean more than three WiFi bars. We network with players from the research landscape and the electrical industry, in order to create added value for our customers. Through the lively exchange of knowledge, experience and skills, we are able to think even further and more efficiently about our services and products.
